17th June 2025 - Put down the fear and have more fun!
Hello, beautiful souls and welcome to today's takeaway. So today I am changing up my environment. I have got into a habit recently of only really working from home, recording at home, taking client calls from home and all of those things. And so my morning routine is very much like the kids get the kids dropped off at school, go do some shopping, and then head straight home, sit at home until school pick up time. And I realized that I am somebody who requires change in movement and I respond to a change of environment in a creative way, like a change of environment for me, sparks new ideas. It sparks new thoughts, new behavior patterns and new ways of being. And it gives me so much more to respond to when I'm able to work from various different places in various different energies and various different atmospheres.

And so today I have decided that I am going to head to one of my favorite spots, locations, a place where I usually do some of my one-to-one in-person work, which is a beautiful cafe in a gorgeous park. And I'm going to go and work from there. Today I'm going to record there and I'm going to just do everything from there. Now, one of the interesting things about this is that the fear that I've had to overcome in order to step in and make this decision today, because one of the things that I have always been afraid of coming here to work long time is one, them thinking I'm taking a Mick, like working from the cafe, just ordering a drink every now and again, maybe some lunch a bit later on, but then just sitting there to work for hours on end. Two, also being heard recording or being overheard, doing calls and not wanting to be a nuisance to anyone or any of those things.

However, today I'm stepping outside of that today, I said, I'm going to face the fear anyway, today. I said, what's the worst that could happen? They could ask me to leave. They could ask me to stop doing calls. They could ask me to be quieter. They could ask me not to record. And all of those things is minimal because all I say is, okay, no problem. Thank you. And move on. And I can go any other place I can record in the park itself. So today I'm going outside of my comfort zone. I'm stepping boldly over fear and I'm going to do the thing anyway. What fears, just like mine, doesn't seem that big. It's not a massive leap. It's not some huge big goal and yet still have avoided doing it. And so for contemplation today, what fears may be stopping you just from making your work day more enjoyable or stopping you from perhaps actioning something in your business that you've wanted to action for a long time but haven't yet done? What are those fears and can you pick them up today and take a look at them and analyze them and decide to put them down so that you can move forward? Let's see how it goes.
