10th June 2025 - Caught In The Comparrison Trap

Hello, beautiful souls and welcome to today's takeaway. So yesterday I found myself for the first time in a very, very long time, getting caught up in the game of comparison and self-doubt, let's say. And it went a little bit like this. This is how it played out. I was having a wonderful chat with another beautiful soul who is very, very knowledgeable about human design and astrology. And we were looking at each other's charts and highlighting things that we could see in their personalities. And we were talking about how we'd been dealing with certain shadow gates and bringing ourselves back into empowerment. And during this conversation, she shared some incredible astrology insights with me. And I have spent years now in delving into human design charts and dipping my foot in and out of astrology a little bit. But my astrology knowledge is just simply not that strong.

And I found that little in a voice of mine going, oh, maybe I need to take an astrology course. Maybe I need to go down this rabbit trail. And it wasn't from a sacral hell yes to learning more about astrology. It was really from that place of feeling like she knew far more than I did, and that in order to catch up, to be as knowledgeable as this individual, I needed to go and do an astrology course. Hello inner critic. And this happens to us frequently throughout our business journey. I think most entrepreneurs have this feeling at some point that what they know is somehow not enough. And we tend to think that when we learn a little bit more, then we will be good enough to do X, Y, and z. In this case, it wasn't about being good enough to do X, Y, and Z.

It was about being as good as. And I think this is a trap or a cycle that we can get caught in thinking that who we are and what we do is not good enough. Now, for context here, we both serve very different niches. She doesn't help people with their businesses. What I do is very, very much focused on helping you to expand and scale your business. So the knowledge that I've gained is really the knowledge that has helped me to do that and has helped me to help my clients do that. And that is enough, and regrounding myself in that truth, realizing that if astrology is for me to go down, there'll be something outside of me to respond to. And my sacral will have an in the moment, immediate hell yes response. And I think this is important for us all to remember that it isn't a comparison game.

That your unique gift skills, knowledge base is already enough to serve your audience and clients. And if there is something else that you are here to learn and deliver or is aligned for you to upskill, then you will have your aligned decision-making strategy to help you navigate that in the most aligned way for you and from a place of empowerment, not disempowerment. So pay attention today. Where are you caught in the comparison trap? Where are you doing things simply because you want to keep up with the next person or because you feel like you are somehow behind or not as good as start highlighting those things and come back to your personal power and your truth, and anchor yourself into the knowing that when it's aligned for you, if it's aligned for you, it will all be revealed in divine timing.
