Amber Cherelle (00:00):
Hello, beautiful souls and welcome to today's takeaway. The imagination is one of the greatest of all human gifts. Every single day we find ourselves caught in our imagination. If you think about it, a lot of our day is spent using our imagination, and yet most of us use it unaware, unintentionally. When you wake up in the morning and you think about all of the things that the day has in store for you, imagining when you are sat at your computer wondering what kind of content you're going to create or put out there in the world today, you are imagining when you create a product or offer and you're deciding what to put into it, who's going to receive it, what their experience is going to be like with it. You are imagining when you think about your bank balance and the bills that you have coming in, or the amount of income that you expect to receive, or perhaps even the fear of not receiving as much income as you would like or need this month, you're using your imagination all day.
(01:36):
Anytime where you're not completely in the present moment, you are using your imagination. Even when you're looking back at your past, the memories that you hold, memories themselves are often distorted through the lens of our now self. We look back at memories and we think and ponder on what was we perceive to be, but also sometimes how we wished things could have been or what might have played out differently. This is your imagination, and what so many of us do is since we unintentionally use our imagination, and since we are primed and wired to prepare for the worst, to plan for our safety and our security to make sure that we don't do anything that's unsafe or that could put us in harm's way, we use our imagination to think about worst case scenarios. And in business this often looks like those thoughts of what if nobody buys? What if I don't hit the revenue that I need this month? What if I'm in the wrong career or profession? Or what if this the right offer? We use our imagination to see all of the things that we don't desire for ourselves and to plan and to try and prepare for them or to talk ourselves out of things to keep ourselves safe.
(03:18):
And we often say it takes the same amount of effort to imagine the worst as it does to imagine good things. I'm not entirely certain that this is true for. In order for you to start changing that habit, that subconscious programming, and to overcome something that has been hardwired into you for a lifetime, it requires conscious effort, intentional effort for you to wake up in the morning and to think about and to imagine sales coming in one after the other, Stripe notification, one after the other, to imagine all of your bills being paid on time and to see overflow in your bank account, to imagine the testimonials coming in after somebody has purchased your product or service, and all of their things that they have to say about all of the things that you wished they would accomplish or achieve or receive after purchasing from you.
(04:24):
To use your imagination to see the growth of your children and the time that you will spend together, the holidays that you will go on, the intimate moments, the things that you wish for them and for you, the things that you wish to share with your family, to wake up in the morning and to look forward to the day and say, this is going to be a great day. And to imagine that great day that you have ahead of you unfolding before you requires intentional effort. But don't shy away from that intentional effort because here is the beautiful thing about imagination. If you can see it, you can create it. Everything that we have in this world, every product, every successful business, every item in your house, every material was once just somebody's imagined reality. The bed frame that you wake up in in the morning, somebody designed that, somebody imagined it and drew it out, and somebody created it and built it and put it together, and now it's here material and manifest.
(05:44):
Everything that you could wish for can be created if you can see it in your mind's eye. So use your imagination, be intentional with it. Craft your reality because that power is within you. It's within each of us. So what are you waiting for? Take a few minutes today, right now, and imagine your life. That's the greatest you can imagine it to be. How many sales do you desire to have? Imagine them. See them now coming through. What do you want for you today? What memories do you want to create today? See them. Feel them. Know that they are already yours. And then take inspired action to make that your reality. Set the blueprint. Take the steps. It's yours, beautiful soul. You've worked for this. You get to have this. You are worthy of this. You deserve this. There is no way you can mess it up. So use your intention wisely. Use your imagination wisely. Use the power within you wisely. I.
