23rd April 2025 - Visuals Creation Tip

Season #2

Amber Cherelle (00:00):

Hello, beautiful souls and welcome to today's takeaway. So this one's just a very, very quick tip for your visuals on your social media channels, whether that be Instagram or Facebook. So if you have images where you are putting text over the top of them, please, please, please make sure that that text is easily legible, that it can be seen. So if you are using Canva, for example, make sure your layers are correct. Don't have transparent layers over the top of your words that are going to make your words look fainter and make them difficult to read. Make sure the text is the right size. Make sure the fonts are legible on a screen, like be really conscious because yes, it might look really pretty, but you have a message to deliver. And if I can't read that message or get a feel for what that message is because the words are not readable, I'm going to scroll on pretty quickly. I'm not going to take the time to view it. I'm not going to try and figure out what it says. Like if it's hard work, I'm not going to do it. So make it easy for your audience to actually receive the message that you're putting out there.
