22nd January 2025 - Am I Aware

Season #1

Amber Cherelle (00:01):

Hello, beautiful soul and welcome to today's takeaway. So in human design, we have something known as the passenger crystal, probably most commonly referred to or better understood as the passenger consciousness. And I want to share with you something that helps me to connect with passenger consciousness. What we mean by passenger consciousness is that you are not the vessel that you are housed in this lifetime, for sure. It is what carries you. This body, this physical vessel that you live in, it carries you through this lifetime, but you are simply a passenger passing through in this physical experience.

(00:59):

And the mind itself is often what we think of when we think of controlling thoughts or settling our thoughts. When we think of states of depression or emotional states, we often come to mind and body, but mind is not who you are either. You are passenger consciousness. And when you can understand that you are the passenger experiencing life through the lens, the physical vessel, the body, and life through the mind, then you start to realize that as the passenger, you don't really have to take the ride maybe quite as seriously as you have been. But there is also a place where you get to become the observer, where you don't attach you to the experience, to the feelings, to any pain or struggles or emotional disconnection where your bodily experience doesn't consume you, where you don't make the thoughts or the feelings and become who you are, but rather an experience that you'll witness to.

(02:38):

So just create clarity around that. I'm going to repeat that again. The thoughts and feelings that you experience on a daily basis are not, you are not your emotions, you are not your thoughts. You are the observer of all of that experience. And when we can create this separation between how we feel and what we think, we start to realize that we can have more control, more direction over that than we ever realized that we had before. And one of the easiest ways to create a stronger connection with that higher consciousness, that passenger consciousness, is to ask yourself a simple question out loud. And that question is, am I aware?

(03:36):

Now when you ask, am I aware? I don't want you to listen for what your mind says, what thoughts come in, but just simply pause and notice the space that is created. So when you repeat, am I aware there is this space that opens up for me? I tend to feel it either right by my third eye or at the back of my head. It feels like this expansiveness, this vastness. When I ask, am I aware, I tap into this almost sensory experience out of body? Perhaps in that question, there is just this emptiness, this listening, this opening of space where you are witnessing rather than being that is the passenger consciousness.

(04:41):

When we can access that regularly and be there just even for a split moment, we're creating a deeper connection to that part of us that so often is so silent and that we don't always hear from. And this passenger consciousness, this part of us is simply awareness. It doesn't come with thought or emotion, but is awareness. And sometimes all you need when you're feeling emotionally dysregulated or energetically dysregulated is to be in that space of awareness, not making it mean anything, not attaching a thought or a meaning, a belief to what you're experiencing, but just allowing yourself to experience it. And once you're in that allowing of experiencing it, you can then ask a question. And this is where mind gets to come in and communicate with passenger consciousness of what do I desire to experience next? And then just hold that space and allow that space and the space answers the question.

(06:00):

And you get to move towards that experience. Just try it. If you want to take that practice a little bit further, see if you can contemplate from that place, from that place of consciousness. So once you've accessed that space and you've asked yourself, what would I like to experience? And you've allowed that pause and that openness to be present, and then you bask in that openness just a little bit, and you sit in that presence of that feeling in that emotion, and you just contemplate it. You just feel it. You just witness it. And at times mind will come into that contemplation and explore some avenues. But this time you are allowing mind to be observed rather than to control. You are allowing the feelings to be observed rather than to be controlled. And from here, this is where we can access our type strategy and authority. Because from here as the conscious awareness, not trying to change or shift or transmute anything, we can start listening to the subtle voices, the subtle feelings, the subtle nudges that come from body wisdom. This is where we can tap into that sacral response. And for most of us as beings, we are waiting for something. The emotionals are waiting for the wave to pass. The sacral beings are waiting for the response.

(07:55):

The projectors are waiting for the invitation. Sometimes waiting feels like a bit of a long game. We just don't know when it's going to come. And if you are wrapped up in the emotions of that becomes very hard to wait. It's where we start to force and try to do more and be more and make things happen. Even the manifestor is waiting for the urge. If we can't wait, we miss the body signs, we lose trust in the body, and we start following mind and mind starts to take control. But if we can operate from that place of consciousness, just as the observer will notice more, you'll notice sacral leap. When it's a yes, you'll notice your intuition. When it nudges, you'll notice that urge and momentum that's created for the manifesta I, the reflector, will spend more time feeling into the energies over that lunar cycle rather than trying to rush to decisions. It's such a beautiful, peaceful, calm place to be. So the question again is, am I aware.
