13th January 2025 - Mission to Impact
Amber Cherelle (00:00): Hello, beautiful souls and welcome to today's takeaway. So it's Monday morning and there is no better way to start off Monday morning than with a little bit of motivational talk. And so I want to contemplate today the time in history that you are in as a female entrepreneur because there has never been a better time in history than there is right now for being in business. We have stepped into an era over the past few decades where you have greater access to marketing, to a global audience, to a global potential client base than there is right now. This is a pivotal moment. What a great moment to be alive. What a great moment to decide that you are going all in on your business venture. We have, for a long time now had the ability to market and sell via the internet online, but we have now a rise in platforms that have millions upon millions of users. (01:23)We have the access to our own essential media platforms, media outlets. Now, there are a lot of people that will complain out there about how our news channels and our broadcast channels, our TV channels, the way that media reaches us is so one-sided or biased or controlled and all of those things. But I want to plant a little seed for you today, which is to think about your social media channel as a platform, as your broadcast center. It is the place where you get to change all of those things, where you get to talk about the things that matter most to you, where you get to have your voice and your opinions heard, where you get to create massive impact. If you were to start viewing your social media account for your business, whether that be Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, whatever it is you're using to get your message out there, if you were to look at that platform as your personal broadcast center for your business mission, your impact mission, how would that change how you show up in that space? (02:48)It has never been easier for a woman to get her voice heard. It has never been easier for a woman to start and own a business. There was a period in time where you couldn't even own a bank account as a woman where there were certain jobs that you weren't able to do. And there are all of these women that went before us that had so many more barriers and walls and limitations put up in front of them. So many chains and shackles, so many people telling them what they could and could not do. Now, I know many of us are still feeling the repercussions of that, and many of us still feel in our subconscious and in our patterns, in our behaviors that we are limited. (03:48)But those women that went before us, those that saw those walls and limitations and said, I don't stand for this anymore, they found ways over them. They found ways around them. They chose not to be silenced so that we can live in an era today where you can be a woman in business. You can have a bank account where you can choose to go into any industry or niche that you desire to where your voice can be heard, where your voice does matter. And I think it's really important to recognize the freedoms that we do have, the freedoms that are available to us, ensure it's easiest for us to say that I can't do this because I don't have X. I'm not confident enough. I'm not pretty enough. I don't have enough money. I don't have the resources, I don't have the support and all of this. (04:44)Or we can flip the narrative and look at what we do have at our disposal. You can flip the narrative today and say, these are all of the things that I currently have to access to. This is the reality that I live in, and I'm going to use all of these resources, all of these tools, all of these platforms, all of the support that I do have, all of the knowledge that I do have, all of the skills that I do have, and I'm going to leverage all of my unique gifts and strengths and all of these resources to the best of my ability to create the impact that I am here to create on this earth and planet at this time. And it has never been easier to do that. Never been easier to do that. Your business, the product or offers or services that you provide to your soulmate client, create impact. (05:42)Think about it. What impact does your product or service have on anybody who purchases it and uses it? What positive impact does it have on their lives? So I'm going to take one example from our academy membership members. We have one of our founding members, Catrina Mitchum, is helping people to create really good quality, high quality courses, online courses. Now, the impact that this has on the businesses, on the business owners, the course creators that decide to hire her, is that they create courses that people rave about, that students actually complete and get what they want. They come away with raving testimonials and reviews, more referrals, more sales, because they built something that actually matters. (06:40)And the flip side of this for the students as well, there's a positive impact for every student that enrols on one of the courses that Katrina's clients have actually created and purchased using what she created, using what they've purchased from her or having worked with her. The students come away from those courses with a improved learning experience. They come away with satisfaction. It makes their learning experiences easier. They come away with new skills or knowledge that perhaps they would not have been able to absorb in another way. And each of those people that are positively impacted, the business owner with more money in their account, the student that's developed a new skill or a new learning or a new understanding and had a positive learning experience goes on to have a ripple effect on everyone else around them. It affects the business owner's family. It affects the businesses that they choose to purchase from. It affects the quality of life, which then has a ripple effect on everybody else. And same with the students. (07:40)The impact your product offer or service has on the individual is not just for the individual. There is a collective ripple effect that happens when you stand up and share your mission and your message with your audience. Your brand message has impact potential, and it has never been easier to get your brand seen. It has never been as easy as it is today to get your message out there in the world. It has never been easier than it is today to impact millions to positively create change. So my contemplation for you today is a few things. First of all, start viewing your social media platforms as a way to get your message out into the world and create positive impact. Second of all, that means you need to know what is the impact that you are creating? What is the message that you you're putting out there into the world? How does your product offer or service positively impact the individual and the collective? And why does that fricking matter? Why is that so important? And are you willing to step into that position, that place of being one of those women in history that says, no matter what rules are put up in front of me, no matter what barriers or limitations or chains I find around me, I shall overcome them. I shall surmount them because it matters. That's the message that I'm going to leave you with today.
